Course Description
In the A2.1 course, vocabulary and grammar are trained. Short monologues, dialogues and radio broadcasts are used to practice understanding the German language. Reading is practiced by means of short texts. Writing short texts about personal topics as well as speaking train the vocabulary.
Course Content
Students acquire global and selective reading and listening comprehension through simple texts.
Basic vocabulary and grammar skills are expanded:
- Modal verbs in the perfect and past tense
- Verbs in the perfect and past tense
- Syntax
- Adjectives: Comparative, Superlative
- Prepositions: temporal and local prepositions
- Genitive for nouns
- Adjective declension
- Reflexive verbs
- Indirect questions
- Verbs with dative and accusative
- Conditional and causal subordinate clauses
