Course Description
In the B1.1 course, vocabulary and grammar are expanded. Dialogues and texts become longer in order to expand the vocabulary. The writing of letters, complaints and comments is intended to recreate everyday situations.
Course Content
The vocabulary is expanded with the following contents:
- Describe People
- Evaluate Past
- Formulate complaints
- Making assumptions about the future
- Recreate invitations and customer meetings
- Expressing disappointment
- To be able to comment on something emotionally
- Write invitations, acceptances and rejections
The following grammar is practiced:
- Adjectives as nouns
- Relative clauses in the dative case with prepositions
- Conjunctions: “although”, “nevertheless”, “if”, “there”, “during”, “before”, “after”
- Future I
- Infinitive with “zu”
- Adjective declension with comparative and superlative
- Subjunctive II Past
- Auxiliary Verbs: “to have” and “to be
